The night before last, we were meant to be going up to Tal-y-Bont near Bangor to see Eat Static. For various reasons we didn't make it, and instead had an accidentally lovely night in. We watched eXistenZ which I thought I'd seen before, but obviously hadn't as I would have remembered how gross it was in places. It was really good though! A few wines were consumed and then we watched 4 episodes of Terrahawks which I didn't think I'd seen before, but it turned out I actually had. It was great, really funny, there were some ironically racist bits, it was informative and the puppetry was lightyears ahead of the Thunderbirds stuff (Terrahawks is by the same people). Everyone seems to remember the naughts and crosses bit of Terrahawks, but for some reason it was never as popular at Thunderbirds (which I've never been a huge fan of). All in all, a fun night (and not bad considering each video was a pound from poundland!).

It's less than a week until the wedding, there's still lots to do and I'm working quite a bit this week, so it'll no doubt be quite stressful. I'm very much looking forward to a week of relaxing in Madeira and then a week of travels round the UK.
